Today’s church and mission agencies are not lacking or deficient in good programs, ideas, strategies or resource materials. In fact, we have all of the above in abundance. The church’s greatest deficiency today is in the area of fervent and effective prayer.

There is no doubt that the power of God for effectiveness in ministry can only be released through prayer.

The New Testament church was established through the manifestation of the power of the Holy Spirit. This power was manifested through power encounters or spiritual Warfare (though the term itself may not be found in the Bible). It is literally impossible to explain the power and effectiveness of the New Testament church without reference to spiritual warfare prayer and power encounters. (Acts 1:14; 2:42; 3:1; 6:4; 16:16)

If you look at the history of the church, the history of revivals, and of the great awakenings, it was always connected to people unifying and praying for the Lord to work in their cities, churches, nations etc. And that’s what we want to see happen in our generation through the work of theHarpazo Prayer Network
